Curtain Measuring Guide

For images and descriptions of Pencil Pleat, Knife Pleat, Double Pinch Pleat, Triple Pinch Pleat, Box, Eyelet and S-Fold heading >heading > and type of track/rod you are ready to take measurements.

Pencil, Knife, Pinch or Box Pleat headed curtains can be hung on either a Curtain Track or a Rod with Rings.

Eyelet curtains can only be hung on a Rod. 

S-Fold curtains must be ordered with one of the matching track options on the same order page.

 

Measuring for standard Curtain Tracks;

Width is from end to end of the track.

If you having a Pair of curtains on a Cord Drawn track you will have carrier arms that Overlap in the middle, say Yes to the Overlap option and we will add >

If your hand or cord drawn track has end brackets you want to cover with curtains say Yes to the appropriate Returns option and we will add >

Height is from the top of the track to your desired length. Please *add 1 cm if your track is Face mounted and you want your curtain to sit higher than the track.

 

Measuring for Rod & Ring sets and Rod only (for Eyelets);

Width is from end to end of the rod (not any decorative ends).

Height is measured from under the large ring to the desired finished length just off the floor.

For Eyelets on rods (only) the Height is from top of rod to desired finished length. +**Add 3cms as the top of the eyelet curtain will sit higher than the rod.

 

Measuring for S-Fold Curtains;

Curtain Width is the exact same >

Curtain Height is from the top of the Track down to the desired length.
